Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to manage a docket of Pre-Litigation cases to resolution. The ideal candidate will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and will work closely with a team of paralegals and Pre-Litigation staff. This role requires a high level of organization, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and professional work environment. The Associate Attorney will also provide guidance to non-attorneys and lead by example. Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a docket of Pre-Litigation cases to resolution.Report directly to an assigned Senior Associate.Collaborate with Pre-Litigation staff to achieve a high standard of client service.Provide guidance to non-attorneys as needed.Lead non-attorneys by example, fostering a positive workplace environment.Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as required.Maintain meticulous records and case files.Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Requirements:Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.Proven experience in managing Pre-Litigation cases.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.Positive attitude and leadership qualities. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Ability to mentor and provide guidance to non-attorney staff.Commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
