The ideal candidate will possess a Massachusetts license and New England roots, along with a portable book of $250,000+ and expertise in early-stage companies, private equity, early round corporate finance, and commercial real estate transactions. Job Duties:Provide leadership and strategic direction in corporate transactions.Cultivate and maintain client relationships.Manage and oversee corporate and transactional matters.Negotiate and draft various agreements and documents.Offer legal advice and guidance on corporate governance issues.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters.Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base. Requirements:Massachusetts license and New England roots.10-15 years of experience in law firm Corporate/Transactional practice.Experience with early-stage companies, private equity, and early round corporate finance is a plus.Experience with commercial real estate transactions, finance, and leasing is also a plus.Portable book of $250,000+.Strong leadership and communication skills.Proven track record of successful client development and retention.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Massachusetts Bar license. Skills:Expertise in corporate transactions and governance.Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.Strong business acumen.Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.Effective leadership and strategic thinking.Business development and client management skills.Collaboration and teamwork.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Experience:10-15 years of experience in law firm Corporate/Transactional practice. This law firm was founded over three decades ago with a wide range of trial and transactional experience. Their areas of practice include construction, real estate, criminal, white collar, estate planning, family law, and land use. The firm is located in Massachusetts.
