JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is seeking a Planner / Scheduler to join the team in Greeley, CO. Location: Greely, COSchedule: 9/80 hybridDuration: 12 months with potential to extendAuthorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare summary and detail level schedules.* Develop full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic-generated baseline schedules for projects.* Perform monthly progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level.* Always ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.* Develop and periodically update cost and/or resource loaded schedules.* Participate in all project schedule reviews as required at Operations Review Meetings (ORMs) or other sessions.* Participate in the development and preparation of proposal presentations, including developing preliminary bar chart schedules and staffing charts.* Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staff.* Conduct schedule and Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews.* Work together with multiple teams to coordinate both schedules and models.* Interpret data, compile reports, and deliver presentations when required* Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering field* Minimum of five years' experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, estimating and other areas of project controls in a oil and gas environment.* Advanced experience with scheduling software applications such as Primavera on projects; large project experience is desirable.* Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.* Positive leadership style and ability to create a high morale oil and gas environment* Autonomous, self-starter* Superior planner and organizerQUALIFICATIONS * Bachelors Degree in engineering: Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering fields * Minimum of five years' experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, estimating and other areas of project controls in a oil & gas environment * Advanced experience with scheduling software applications such as Primavera on projects, large project experience desirable * Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite * Positive leadership style and ability to create a high morale oil & gas environment
