Are you mechanically and electrically minded and looking for the next step in your career? We’re seeking auto industry pros with a knack for problem-solving and hand tools to join our service department as Mobile Electronics Installers. Training is available for the right candidates. You will be installing audio and safety systems in clients’ vehicles, diagnosing audio system issues, installing amplifiers, head units, and door speakers, and discussing requirements with clients. Based on our position we require essential skills and abilities for a Car Audio Installer which may include: • Wiring various 12-volt electronics• Knowledge of CAN BUS networks• Knowledge of Most Networks• Strong working knowledge of DMM and application in Mobile Electronics• Computer Proficiency to research issues and solutions• Alarms• Lighting• Safety and collision avoidance systems• Backup camera interfaces• Audio integration• Speakers, Stereos, Amplifiers, Digital sound processors• Custom fabrication• Table saw and router work• Fiberglass/body filler/paintwork• Troubleshooting• Technical skills• Basic mechanical skills• Knowledge of audio systems• Attention to safety• Attention to details• Customer service skills• Troubleshooting and accuracy Responsibilities:• Team up with managers and other installers to diagnose and service cars coming in for audio and safety upgrades• Install supplied audio and safety devices Qualifications: • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory• Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic• A strong team player who can also work independently• Must have a collaborative mentality to problem-solve Compensation: $40,000 - $65,000 yearly About Company: We are an aftermarket automotive outfitter specializing in high-end car audio.
