We're looking for a driven Registered Nurse Auditor located in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Houston, TX to join our growing team and play a vital role in upholding healthcare quality. In this remote position, you'll: Review medical records to ensure services billed are medically necessary Utilize your clinical expertise to analyze and apply appropriate coding for accurate reimbursement Craft clear and concise reports to support decisions on claims Partner with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Contribute to a collaborative, results-oriented team environment What you need to qualify: A current and active RN or LPN license 2+ years of experience as a medical certified coder 2+ years of experience performing detailed nurse audits with Demand Liability and Workers' Compensation files Previous experience with submission of Counter affidavits and performing depositions Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
