About the Employer The Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) is located in Northern California and serves 13 districts and 17 charter schools in Butte County and provides services to students and educators in all 58 California Counties and employs 1500 people in Butte County and across the state. Job Summary Credential Information: A valid, unexpired California credential authorizing School Nurse Services is required for regular and substitute school nurse positions. The following are acceptable credentials: --- School Nurse Services Credential (authorization code R52N) --- Health Services Credential with School Nurse Authorization (authorization code R52A) Individuals without one of the credentials listed above must show evidence of eligibility for and willingness to obtain the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential. Requirements for the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential is found on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing's School Nurse Services leaflet CL-380. Further questions regarding the School Nurse Credential may be sent to BCOE Credentials Support at XXXX@bcoe.org. Requirements / Qualifications All applications MUST be accompanied by the items listed below. Incomplete applications will not be considered Certification (RN License) Copy of Transcript (Transcripts to show conferral of Bachelor's or higher degree) Credential Copy (Copy of credential from the CTC website: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/commission/lookup ) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three Letters of Recommendation, current letters preferred) Resume Comments and Other Information To comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all new employees must provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States. FINGERPRINTING FOR CONDUCTING A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION IS REQUIRED and completed upon offer of employment.
