The candidate represents children primarily in circuit court dependency proceedings. Advocates for services for children with mental health, behavioral, educational, and other needs. Litigates drafts of legal documents, and advises clients on legal rights. Visits clients in their placements and some intermittent travel is necessary. Works under minimal supervision. Must be a Florida Bar member eligible to practice law in Florida. Must be computer proficient. Being bilingual is a plus.Additional Skills: The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must be self-motivated, take initiative, organized and hard-working.
