Overview: The Democratic National Committee is seeking an Early Vote Analytics Program Manager to support a cross-team voter contact program focused on vote-by-mail and early voting. This role will support the Biden campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot. The Early Vote Analytics Program Manager guides and supports the campaign’s ballot expansion and GOTV targeting and program. This person will work collaboratively with the states, paid media, targeting, and data science teams. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. This position reports to the Early Vote Analytics Director. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with voter protection and legal teams to synthesize data on ballot rejection, cancellation, and cure. Serve as the source of truth and a resource to in-state and HQ legal and voter protection teams. Develop a targeting strategy and implementation plan for the campaign’s early vote programs. Coordinate with analytics engineers to build and monitor robust data pipelines, coordinate with data scientists to implement modeling and other strategic imperatives, and work with analysts and external stakeholders to implement program. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience applying data and advanced analytics tools in a political, business or non-profit setting, with expertise in individual-level targeting. Professional work experience with voter files; experience with voting laws, voter registration, and GOTV programs. 2+ years using SQL professionally Ability to balance multiple priorities, communicate goals and build consensus to work effectively within and across departments. A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems. Experience volunteering or working in politics. Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Google BigQuery, or other technologies in our stack. A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems. Familiarity (if not direct experience) with early vote data and targeting programs. The starting salary for this position is $90,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends. This is an exempt position. This role is not BU eligible as it will exist for less than 6 months.
