They will represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediation, and arbitrations. Additionally, they will advise and counsel employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discriminationRepresent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete casesProvide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulationsRequirements:JD from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials2+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferredActive CO Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quicklyUnderstanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) proceduresSkills:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to excellenceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsCommitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with the ability to work independently on various projectsEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive CO Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quicklyJob Location:Denver, COBenefits offered:Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) Retirement PlanFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountFirm-paid holidays, vacation, and sick timeEmployee assistance program and other firm benefits.
