The ideal candidate will handle a variety of patent projects and demonstrate expertise in drafting, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions, and due diligence.Job Duties:Manage a diverse portfolio of patent projects, including drafting, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions, and due diligence.Conduct thorough analysis and research to support patent applications and legal opinions.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Provide expert advice on patent-related matters, including infringement and validity assessments.Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform strategic decisions.Requirements:A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a junior Associate Attorney specializing in patent law.Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field, with a preference for PhD candidates.Alternatively, 2-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution on small molecule pharmaceuticals.Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Skills:Strong understanding of patent law and regulations.Excellent analytical and research skills.Effective communication and presentation abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
