Job Overview:Handling consumer financial services litigation mattersUtilizing experience in Mortgage Servicing, Foreclosure, Title Disputes, FCRA, and FDCPADemonstrating strong academic and professional qualifications Duties:Representing clients in consumer financial services litigation matters, including mortgage servicing disputes, foreclosure actions, and title disputesConducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, and motionsHandling discovery, including document production and depositionsAdvising clients on compliance with consumer protection laws and regulationsAssisting with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedingsManaging client relationships and providing strategic advice and counselCollaborating with other attorneys and support staff on case management and strategy Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Virginia State Bar in good standing3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in consumer financial services mattersStrong academic and professional credentialsAdmissions to other state Bars a plus Certifications:Admission to the Virginia State Bar Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writingKnowledge of consumer financial services laws and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities This full-service Virginia law office is part of one of the largest law firms in Virginia.
