Job Title: Senior Network Engineer/Team Lead Location: Arlington, VA Clearance Level: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility. Summary We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interest of our nation. SecuriGence is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to help contribute to our success. Come help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence. Responsibilities Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks. Installing and configuring networking hardware. Develop solution designs, conduct peer design reviews, and issue change requests to service suppliers while adhering to service lifecycle and technology roadmaps. Provide incident support and troubleshooting. Creating and implementing network security measures /STIGS Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff Conducting regular network performance tests Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff Dealing with escalated network support issues Drawing up network status reports Sr Network Engineer/ Team Lead requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. Previous work experience as a networking engineer. Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS. Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers. Familiarity with communication and routing protocols. Familiarity with network analysis tools including SolarWinds. Familiarity with Software Defined Network products including Cisco SDWAN / DNAC Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. Familiar with SAFE and AGILE framework. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. High level problem-solving and communication skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 10+ years of experience in networking field. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. Familiar with SAFE and AGILE framework.
