Pediatric Hospitalist physician employment in North Carolina : Join our passionate pediatric team at a well-equipped North Carolina hospital. Be part of a supportive environment giving 24/7 pediatric care. Practice Details: Mission-driven, modern health system in North Carolina 114-bed hospital delivering comprehensive patient care Support staff includes neonatal nurse practitioners, onsite radiologist, and 24-hour laboratory availability Efficient air and ground transport for NICU patient transfers when needed Schedule: Patient rounding in the mornings followed by call coverage Must be able to respond to deliveries within 30 minutes Inpatient census of 5/day on average 2 patients/day/provider 2 admits/day/provider Qualifications: Board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist PALS, BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications required Cases and Procedures: Pediatric Hospitalist responsibilities include: Coverage of newborn nursery, scheduled c-sections and deliveries Respond to codes Manage routine cases in an inpatient setting Prepare/stabilize patients for transfer to NICU No ICU/Critical Care duties Travel and Accommodations: Lodging and travel are provided JN -092019-20243
