SolidWorks Designer - Metal Fabrication

Description:
Responsibilities: * Create accurate and detailed shop and field drawings for steel and miscellaneous metal projects using 3D software. * Ensure compliance with all relevant customer expectations applicable to regulatory compliance regarding codes and regulations. * Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents to ensure that all details are accurately captured. * Coordinate with customer, internal leadership, and fabricators to ensure that all project requirements are met. * Prepare bill of materials, cut lists, and other project documentation as required.Requirements: * Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology or a related field, relevant certifications and/or experience can be substituted for a degree * Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metal fabrication, detail, design, or drawing. * Strong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication processes. * Experience with SolidWorks required. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines. * Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents.IND 005 009
