Volt is now hiring for a CNC Machinist for a company in Madera, Ca. Overtime is available! A machinist with Mazak brand machining experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and ensure all materials are readily available * Perform G and M code basic editing * Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. * Inspect product and, if non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures. * Carry out production, 1st piece inspection, and machine operation duties * Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work * Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system. * Advise supervision of issues that arise. * Translating engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into logical processes to complete tasks. * Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management * Maintain a safe and clean workspace * Follow established safety rules and regulations * Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict safety guidelines of the company Qualifications * 2 years' experience is preferred * Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting * Ability to accurately read complex blueprints Shift: 1st Monday-Friday Pay: $26 Please be sure to submit a RESUME.
