OUTREACH TRIPS COORDINATOR MISSION : To help lead a high-impact, highly relational outreach strategy on a national and global level at the direction of the Outreach Pastor.The Outreach Trips Coordinator will be responsible for the following functions: Trips Manager: Oversee all details in recruiting, preparing, sending, and debriefing teams going on trips. Fundraising Supervisor: Provide oversight and structure for individuals and teams in step with the LCC fundraising policies outlined by the elders and leadership. Partnerships and logistics: Build relationships with our people and our global partners to serve them best, and lead communication between Outreach Ministry and the partners who will be receiving teams. Engagement/Next Steps: Execute the internal strategies of the Outreach Ministry that will help people move from exposure to LowCountry Community Church to taking next steps that connect them to the church and opportunities to serve. The ideal candidate will help recruit, train, and equip volunteers from LCC to go be the hands and feet of Jesus. Teams: Work with the Communications Team to clearly communicate and articulate the story of what God is doing through Outreach at LowCountry Community Church as well as Childrens, Students, and Adult Ministries to create, plan, and execute age-specific projects and partnerships for the Church to engage in. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Outreach Trips Coordinator agrees and aligns with LowCountry Community Churchs vision, mission, and values, with the ability to utilize high relational capacity and administrative gifting to advance the footprint through Outreach Ministry. This individual will help oversee our trips stateside and around the world, building relationships with partners and mobilizing our people to pray, serve, give, and go. It is essential to be a strong project manager, having skills in time management, scheduling volunteers, and coordinating locations for events and vendors. They will be a strong proponent of the budget and maintain a strong grasp on the organizational side of trips and service opportunities. An ideal candidate will be able to multitask with several project details at once. This will be accompanied by: Participation in staff meetings and outreach team meetings Engagement with our congregation to get them connected to service opportunities Help maintain current partner relationships with those we send teams Help plan and execute details and logistics for mission trips while providing oversight to ManagedMissions database for trips Effective communication skills- verbal and written COMPENSATION: LowCountry Community Church offers a competitive compensation package hourly commensurate with education and work experience. Particulars of compensation will be worked out with the successful candidate upon satisfactory completion of financial and criminal background checks.
