We are looking for an executive Chef to lead our kitchen and join our team in the opening of our newest location! Passion, passion, passion. Under the direction of our corporate chef, the incumbent, on a daily basis, consults with the corporate chef and manages recipes, staff, menus, preparation and presentation and overseas all aspects of our kitchen. The role of Executive Chef includes: Supervises daily operations of kitchen. Preparing meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner Following all recipes and specs and execution of the menu Training and staffing kitchen Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements Using kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers and warmers in food preparation Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef Requirements/Responsibilities Experience and Qualifications: Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, and works well with others. They also believe in quality, consistency and working in a clean, organized, and inclusive environment where respect and dignity is prioritized. *2+ years' experience working in high volume restaurant environment as an executive Chef. *Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude with a team player mindset *Ability to work under pressure with grace and ease. *Must have transportation and be able. *Minor experience with Excell and spreadsheets *Use of Scheduling and labor programs *Love of exceptional food, modern drink, and exquisite style. *Must have open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. *Must enjoy an active role in management. *Commitment to excellence *Desire to learn *Passion for food and hospitality *Positive attitude Special Instructions Please do not send any emails, resumes, or call.
