The Portfolio Process Manager will own the implementation of the portfolio management processes to ensure OTP meets its mission of providing reliable, low-cost and environmentally responsible power to its customers. To achieve that, the Portfolio Process Manager will: Create, implement, and manage a portfolio management process. Define and enforce standards for preliminary project planning to ensure future project execution is a success. Collaborate with all internal Otter Tail Power stakeholders on templates, tools and standards lists for project management and methodologies and train Project Management team on best practices. Establish metrics and performance indicators to track the progress and performance of the project portfolio. Qualifications: We're seeking candidates with a wide range of skills who are motivated to create the structure that achieves project objectives while aligning with our core values: Integrity, Community, Safety, Resourcefulness, Customer Service and People. OTP leaders need to have a confident interpersonal, communications and diplomacy skills to effectively manage the various teams involved in projects and to create positive and effective relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. Must be goal oriented, action-focused, pragmatic, and self-disciplined. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Engineering, Management, etc., 10 years demonstrated experience in project management and gaining project approval from executives, board of directors and regulatory entities. Must possess a strong understanding and application of basic project management tools and techniques. Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.
