Junior Software Engineer – C# /. NET (hybrid role) We are excited to be creating more new opportunities here at Inspiretec. We are looking for Junior Software Engineers to join one of our dynamic, Product based, cross-functional delivery teams. The successful applicant will love to problem solve and will be able to learn and work at “internet speed, ” within a fast-paced delivery environment. Our application stack is built around Microsoft tooling, including HTML, CSS, Java Script,NET 4.8, Angular JS/React, Microsoft SQL Server, WCF/Web API and ASP. NET MVC. Our development methodology is largely based on an agile approach through software design, implementation and project management techniques. This is a hybrid role and the successful applicant will therefore need to live within reasonable proximity to our office in Cardiff. Key responsibilities: Software design, coding and testing features and system components, using agreed standards and tools. Work with product owners, testers, analysts and architects within an Agile team to deliver application features end-to-end. Identify and resolve issues with applications, following agreed procedures. Use application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics, e. g. load testing. Carry out agreed applications maintenance tasks. Qualifications, skills and experience: Degree in Maths, Physics, Astrophysics, Computer Science or related discipline. Knowledge of C#/VB. NET and the. NET framework.
