If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our new account manager at Waggles Pet Resort ! About Us: Waggles Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art pet resort in Wheeling, Illinois. We seek to enhance the lives of pets and families by offering high-quality dog daycare, lodging, training, enrichment, and spa services in a fun, professional atmosphere. We seek initiative-taking professionals to join our team and help us redefine the standard for pet care in the Chicagoland area. Account Manager Overview: This is primarily a sales and administrative position. Because you will be working onsite at our pet resort, we expect the account manager to work hands-on with dogs and face-to-face with our clients and staff. Responsibilities and duties: Learn about all Waggles Pet Resort services, including training, enrichment, lodging, dog daycare, pet concierge, and dog spa. Our enrichment services are a new service item for our growing client list. The account manager will play a major role in launching this new service! The account manager will connect with our clients and learn about the goals they have set for their dogs. Based on those goals, the account manager will suggest training and enrichment experiences offered at Waggles Pet Resort. Provide a first-class customer service experience for our clients. Assist our management team with administrative tasks. Dog handling and working with a variety of collars and harnesses. If interested, the account manager could learn about dog training and later become certified. Uphold the Waggles brand image and values, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive client relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Our ideal candidate would have a proven track record in sales and account management. The account manager will need to work independently and as part of a team. We seek a candidate who is willing and ready to learn about the dog daycare/boarding industry. Prior professional/volunteer experience with dogs is not required, but every employee at Waggles Pet Resort has a passion for dogs. Schedule / Location: Tuesday to Saturday, from 9am to 6pm 419 Harvester Court in Wheeling, Illinois 60090 Compensation: $16 - $18 / hour $2700 - $3200 / month Quarterly Performance Reviews Paid Training and Continuing Education Professional growth opportunities are available for motivated and dedicated staff.
