Our success is built upon diligence, flexibility, and a thorough understanding of our client's needs. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Mesa, AZ. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, monthly invoicing, budgeting, reconciliations, processing payroll and auditing. The Staff Accountant will also ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies; assist the management with proposals, pricing, cost build up and gross profit calculations; and review and validation of contracts and modifications. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Staff Accountant. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis. Experience in processing weekly and biweekly payroll, to include review, corrections (as needed) and approval. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration with concentration in Accounting or related field. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
