AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in LAS CRUCES, New Mexico.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelJob Description & Requirements Nuclear Medicine Technologist - (Nuclear Med Tech) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1834.87 - $2114.09 Experience 1 year in a hospital environment Required: Completion of course of study resulting in acquisition of ARRT or NMTCB certification. o Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of New Mexico o Current certification with the ARRT or NMTCB o Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close of business on the last day of the month after two full months of work. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a graduate of an accredited program AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer or NMT or has Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry. The NMT is responsible for providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning for and detecting pathology, regulating equipment used to scan, and prints, develops and organizes films Required QualificationsCompletion of course of study resulting in acquisition of ARRT or NMTCB certification.--- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of New Mexico--- Current certification with the ARRT or NMTCB--- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close of business on the last day of the month after two full months of work.
