Employbridge Search Group has a client in Arizona that is looking for a Crane and Hoist Tech to join their team! This is a company that has continued to grow, has competitive salary and benefits! Job Duties * Read mechanical and machinist blueprints, mechanical schematics and precision measuring instruments, then document findings on appropriate paperwork and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting * Mechanical and welding type duties on an as needed basis and meet all requirements such as welding specs, rigging, assembling cranes. * Troubleshoot all sizes and types or cranes and mechanically determine problems and take corrective action. * Provide Manager with accurate and complete information on mechanical machinery in order to install/replace/order replacement parts. * Operate machinery and heavy equipment in shop and the field as needed * Complete documentation with relevant information required to generate reports to be forwarded to the engineering or production departments, or to the customer. * Keep department and work areas clean, safe, and organized. * Perform all assignments according to established procedures, guidelines and with recognized electrical codes. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School Diploma required. Trade school background a plus * 2+ years working directly with overhead cranes and/or hoists * Knowledge of industrial production machinery to include layout, placement, installation, startup, turnover * Experience with Industrial Power and control circuits, relays, fuses, contactors and related electrical components * Experience with electrical systems (480 VAC/3 phase) or electromechanical troubleshooting * Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction, installation and repair of buildings, cranes, and other machinery * Basic knowledge of machinery and tools including their design, uses, repairs and maintenance * Ability to safely operate mobile man-lift equipment * Ability to work with supervision using established guidelines, procedures and in accordance with required electrical code * Valid Driver's license required * Ability to complete required nuclear site access * Capable of extensive traveling in state and out of state
