The litigator will manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial, attending hearings, depositions, and trials. They will prepare litigation documents, maintain client communication, and meet monthly billing requirements. Duties:Manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trialAttend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsPrepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documentsProvide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case statusDevelop client relationships through various methodsTravel to various courthouses and locations as requiredMeet monthly billing requirementsMaintain a professional setting in the officeDemonstrate knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigationHandle all phases of litigation from pleadings through trialTake and defend depositionsPossess strong oral advocacy and excellent writing skillsEvaluate cases effectivelyMaintain Good Standing Membership with the Florida BarUtilize Microsoft Office products and process management systems confidentlyEmbrace technology and automation in daily tasks Requirements:1-3+ years of first-party property or PIP defense litigation experience Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolGood Standing Membership with the Florida Bar Benefits Offered:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401k with matchingEmployer-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance
