The Junior Instructional Designer will be responsible for evaluating and editing the content of existing curricula using sound instructional design, adult learning theory, and learning styles. This candidate will also be responsible for designing, developing and / or editing the facilitator guides, PowerPoint content, workbooks, activities, and audit / review the e:Learning modules / interactive reinforcing activities. The Instructional Designer will work closely with the content development manager and team, as well as project managers and SMEs to ensure that all of our content meets the training requirements and achieves the business goals. It is a very fast paced and demanding environment, so this candidate must be able to work under pressure, stay positive with a focused optimism, make decisions based on the principle of the power in a cohesive and supportive team (which at times it may mean a temporary period of relatively higher workload), work in synch with diverse and dedicated team members, and so successfully join of a unit of Training and Implementation professionals. Responsibilities : Work closely with the other Instructional Designer and eLearning Specialists.: Apply the principles of Adult Learning Theory, Bloom's Taxonomy, Learning Styles to the design of all training materials: Design, develop and / or edit the facilitator guides, PowerPoint content, workbooks, activities, and audit / review the e:Learning modules / web:based interactive activities.: Work with the team to brainstorm how to improve content that is not effective based on data provided by content development manager.: Assess and improve extensive training content for classroom training based on sound instructional systems design.: Design and develop new training materials based on sound instructional systems design and the use of white space for more effective transfer of learning.: Create and/or edit graphics and /or photographs for training materials.: Be able to write content for a specific type of target audience.: Understand the review cycle of content development and be receptive to constructive feedback that results in changing the content presented in the review session.: Work with a collaborate mindset and must be able to express perspectives and support opinions in the content development meetings so that the team can engage, at the time of need, in constructive dialogue.: Stay abreast of current trends and innovation.: Create knowledge checks and exams based on Kirkpatrick's levels of evaluation.: Ability to convert different type of content with inconsistent depth and detail of information sheets that pertain to the content which must be converted into organized and consistently designed training deliverables.: If needed, write the scripts for the narration of e:Learning modules.: Manage multiple training projects with overlapping timelines.: Must meet commitments and deadlines.: Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast paced environment.: Belief in and dedication to continuous professional improvement in the knowledge and skills of content development Qualifications Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications : Bachelors Degree or 4+ years of experience.: Quick learner with the ability to
