Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the North Syracuse area with a young boy providing respite services. He enjoys being active and has memberships to various locales within his community. Behavioral supports are necessary along with close supervision and personal care needs. Respite services can either be provided in the home or out in the community, depending on schedule and local events/activities. We are looking for individuals who are dependable and enthusiastic; prior experience in the field is a plus. Reliable transportation is required. Specific training to this individual will be provided by the family with ongoing support provided by the agency supervisor. Hiring for after-school hours, Monday through Friday starting at 3:15pm for a couple of hours along with potential for weekend shift(s), up to 15 hours per week total. Provider schedule can be flexible; the family is willing to accept support any combination of days, if not all. The payrate is $20/hr with reimbursement for mileage and the staff's fees for participation in any activities. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The first bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 1/21/2024 to 6/8/2024. The second bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 6/9/2024 to 11/9 /2024.
