JOB POSITION: - - - - - - Senior Data Analyst LOCATION: - - - - - - - - - - - - 7000 Target Parkway North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445 DUTIES: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Define data to be collected for measuring the success of new product features, define KPIs, and work with engineering on tracking and instrumentation of data. Leverage descriptive statistics and AB Testing practices to determine best path for optimization. Design and build self-service dashboards using a mixture of analytical and visualization techniques to derive actionable insight from data to influences business and product decisions. Democratize data and insights and strive to deliver self-service tools to partners and enable them to make better decisions more quickly. Deliver dashboard reporting and hold products and businesses accountable for results against goals and objectives. Serve as an advocate of data-driven culture, work closely with Product and Engineering teams, helping them use insights that will direct their efforts towards initiatives with the highest impact. Analyze and explore data in Hadoop ecosystem, work with product owners to design a measurement plan and metric hierarchy, analyze the product performance, and provide strategic recommendations. Use analytical expertise to help determine priorities and areas of focus. Synthesize analysis and results and communicate to key stakeholders. Tools/technologies used: In-House A/B Testing Tool, Hue/Hive, Honeycomb, In- House tool for running daily Jobs, Excel, JIRA, Tableau, GitHub, Chrome Developer Tools, DOMO, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Office, Figma for UX Designs. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: - This position requires at least a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in data analysis (any title) using Microsoft Office, JIRA, Adobe Analytics, statistical analysis, DOMO, and Tableau, and including at least one (1) year of experience with A/B testing, KPI reporting and analysis, creating effective dashboard to transform into actionable insights, and implementing ad hoc queries to research.
