Sun State International Trucks is currently seeking experienced Diesel Technicians for our dealership in Tampa, Florida. Our ideal candidate is skilled in major repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical systems. As an experienced diesel technician - you know the job. We expect you to be able to accurately evaluate repairs and complete repairs in a timely manner. Hourly rate is based on experience and technicians are eligible for a monthly efficiency bonus. As an employee of Sun State, you'll be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability insurance and our 401K retirement plan with employer match. Required Education, Licenses, and Skills: High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 - 5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience; All Makes-- International, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Cummins Engines, Detroit Diesel Motors Valid Driver's License Ability to Meet Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical activity while performing the duties of this job regularly requires the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear or see, stoop, crouch, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to work with hands and fingers Well-lighted area with constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
