About The Role: We are currently seeking an occasional Registered Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts Monday to Thursday, 7pm-7am, to assist in the care of our hospitalized patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the health and comfort of our patients during the critical overnight hours. Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care and support to hospitalized patients throughout the overnight shift. Monitor and backss patient vital signs, behaviors, and conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending veterinarian. Assist with emergency procedures and interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Communicate effectively with the daytime veterinary team regarding patient status and overnight developments. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the hospital facilities. Qualifications: Must be a licensed or registered veterinary technician with relevant experience in emergency and critical care. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overnight shifts on weekdays.
