Our client is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to work on a hybrid schedule out of North Charleston, SC on W2.Are you looking to join of engineers working with cutting edge technologies around Maritime Engineering, look no further and APPLY NOW!Job Title: Propulsion EngineerQualifications:Proficiency in Computer Aided Design for draftingBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering3 to 5 years of professional experience in the Maritime IndustryExperience in writing and conducting test proceduresExperience in technical writing, including the development of Work Items, Technical Manuals, Training Manuals, and ProposalsAbility to conduct Ship Checks for cost estimates and engineering changes for propeller system upgrades and repairsExperience in supporting R&D projects and production requirementsAbility to research, develop, and apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex manufacturing problemsExperience in reviewing new designs for production ability, considering factors such as cost, quality, safety, delivery, and production capabilitiesResponsibilities:Develop and draft designs using Computer Aided Design toolsConduct tests, write procedures, and manage eventsDevelop technical manuals, training manuals, and proposalsConduct Ship Checks to develop cost estimates and engineering changes for propeller system upgrades and repairsSupport R&D projects and production requirementsWork with a Production team to quickly identify and resolve problemsApply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex manufacturing problemsReview new designs for production ability, considering factors such as cost, quality, safety, delivery, and production capabilitiesManage and prioritize multiple project timelinesOptimize, add new features, and improve existing control systemsConduct field upgrades and startupsTroubleshoot mechanical issuesTravel domestically and internationally as neededFor qualified candidates, please apply and email resumes to btrainor judge.com!
