What you will do We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Team as we are actively recruiting for a Design Systems Development Coordinator & Librarian. The candidate is responsible the organization and maintenance of the Engineering CAD and PLM library; maintaining adherence to standard engineering procedures; creating and updating Engineering procedural documents; execution of CI initiatives and assisting in employee training. This position will report to the Design Systems Development Mentor. What we’re looking for Create and m aintain CAD library models to prescribed standards Sustain and develop PLM (Windchill) organizational structure Regularly monitor Windchill and CAD systems for adherence to approved procedures Create and update Engineering procedural documentation, including written and multimedia formats Lead and assist in Engineering-related CI activities Train new and existing employees in use of Center Line Engineering software and procedures Work independently and with vendors to procure, import, and process new or updated CAD data Actively engage with ERP software as related to Engineering interaction Assist Design Systems Development Mentor as required What you need to succeed Inventor and Windchill experience required Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma, or skilled trade designation an asset Machine design and/or machine build experience desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
