Description:
Shift report, assignment of 13 pt shared with MHT. Medication consent obtained prior to administrating medications. Charting on assigned patients, managing aggressive situations with team members, treatment plan sessions on assigned patients. Admissions, discharges, and communicating with parents of patients assigned. DCS (Department of child services) reports. Epic charting, Pyxis usage. Vital sign machines. EKG machine. Phones usage. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1 to 10. Requirements IN state RN License or compact. BLS (AHA) Only. 2 to 3 years' experience with youth in a psychiatric setting.
