The focus of this role is to enhance employee engagement, improve the employee experience and align our employment brand with our values and culture. You will help us foster our open and transparent culture. You will be responsible for crafting effective, meaningful communications within TrellisWare in support of our company values and partnering with our team to execute this vision. Enhancing cohesiveness and maintaining team morale is a responsibility of all our team members, as is the ambition for self-improvement and talent development. Through this dedication to unity and professional advancement, each team member is directly impacting the successful outcome of TrellisWare's deliverables and setting the tone for our core values of delivering excellence, pushing boundaries, and empowering people.The essential duties and responsibilities include: Champion employee experience and develop strategy to further our commitment to employee engagement and retention. Manage Top Workplace Energage survey participation and schedule follow up events and meetings. Research, propose, and implement employee communication initiatives with creativity and drive. Maintain employee oriented social media presence. Oversee the planning and execution of company and department recognition and team building program Create and send employee pulse surveys to gage interest and gain valuable feedback. Establish employee recognition program utilizing our current platforms such as Paylocity and Lattice. Assist with DE&I initiatives. Collaborate with People & Culture team on employer brand. Create an engaging and informative all-company monthly newsletter, in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Assist with new hire onboarding processes such as first day onboarding meeting and organize new hire lunches. Order company swag and maintain the employee swag store. Take photos at company events for use in the newsletter and on social media. Coordinate with videographer contractors for video creation for special events. Collaborate with P&C team to create annual yearbook and culture book. Work cross-functionally on social/environmental responsibilities. Assist in planning the annual holiday party. Maintain employee communications calendar covering all internal communications (social media, special communications, etc.) in collaboration with People & Culture team. Facilitate project, goal tracking, and calendar for the People & Culture team. Develop relationships with team members built on trust and respect. Desire to learn and grow in People & Culture. Education and work experience requirements are: Bachelor's degree in communications, psychology, business, or related field of study required. 4 or more years of experience in an employee communications role. Maintains high level of quality in all written communications. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while ensuring proper approvals received on all tasks/projects. Demonstrates strong documentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrates excellent organization skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize, including taking initiative and meeting deadlines. Self-motivated, efficient and detail oriented. Professional demeanor with a high degree of flexibility, strong process orientation, analytical and problem-solving ability, good judgment, and strong business focus. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Basic knowledge of office equipment such as faxes, computers, phones, copiers, and printers. Microsoft PowerPoint skills. Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills. Effective execution and decision making. Champion of change and promotes innovation. Customer service orientated. TrellisWare Technologies pays competitively according to the market in an individual's geographic location, in addition to their qualifications and experience. The posted range is for individuals located in the San Diego, CA area. The pay range for this position is: $65,000-85,000k, annually.
