What you will do We have an exciting opportunity to join our Purchasing Team as we are actively recruiting for a Senior Buyer responsible for material procurement utilizing the MRP system to support the commodity requirements of the company. Analysis, negotiation, and continuous improvement recommendation directives pertaining to cost, quality, and delivery initiatives are required. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager. What we’re looking for Ensure that the service and material requirements of Center Line are met Identify vendors, processes and costs that are competitive Develop new sources of supply Schedule vendor visits to support business relationships; backss processes and facilities Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Take corrective action with suppliers as required Perform supplier performance evaluations as required Mentor other department members as required What you need to succeed Relevant post-secondary education (Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration) required Experience in MRP / ERP systems required (Epicor ERP experience an asset) Professional designation in PMAC an asset Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point) required Blueprint.
