Adjunct Pool - Speech Instructor General Information & Responsibilities To provide appropriate classroom, lab or other instruction as assigned in Speech courses.Sections available at the following locations:QC Campus in Moline, ILEast Campus in Galva, ILDual Credit courses at area High SchoolsOn campus courses Mondays - Fridays; start times of classes range from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Class sessions range from 50 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes. Dual credit class times range from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. Description of All Duties Faculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi; by developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students educational experience; develops, and executes appropriate methods of evaluating students performance; develops, secures, and maintains the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material. Education & Experience Master's degree in speech communication, speech studies or related field required, with experience in teaching public speaking preferred. Oral English proficiency required. Supplemental Information Any instructor hired at Black Hawk College will be required to submit official transcripts at his/her own expense. Transcripts, once submitted, become property of Black Hawk College.Black Hawk College does not sponsor employment visas.
