Job Title: Mexican Food Cook Hours: Full-Time Rate of Pay: Salary DOE Benefits: Room & Board Included Minimum Qualifications: * Experience with Mexican Cuisine * Minimum of 21 years of age * Minimum of 1-3 years experience * DEC Food Handlers Certification * Working knowledge of kitchen equipment * Food Manager Certification Job Duties: * Full charge cook; restaurant meal preparation * Oversees wait staff * Accept deliveries * Personable & Professional interaction with staff & customers * Maintain a safe & clean work environment * Maintain the integrity of food throughout the duration of life-cycle (prep, preparation & storage) * Awareness of State of Alaska regulations for food handling and the serving of alcoholic beverages and oversight of their enforcement We are located in beautiful Valdez, AK; the heart of Prince William Sound. Valdez is a small community, but also tourist destination year round. If you are interested. Owner is willing to help with travel cost to Alaska.
