CREATIVE DESIGNER - Toronto, ON As a Creative Designer , you are key to guiding our customers, ensuring that their ideas translate to a variety of products. Create from scratch or consult and make improvements prior to going to print. Before starting each project, you preflight supplied print files, based on what the client has requested. You will complete font inspection, image quality inspection and add special layers for spot UV varnishes as well as white, metallic silver, and metallic gold inks. As you are on the front lines in the branch, you are a people person and you enjoy creating high-quality final products. Your attention to detail is essential as you review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality control. When unexpected challenges arise, you utilize your innovative-problem solving skills to troubleshoot and consult teammates to find solutions. Each day you love coming to work in our fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Successful Candidates will have the following 5 key attributes: Detail Oriented/Accurate - close attention to and review of work orders for accuracy and completeness, quality control Sense of Urgency - will enjoy working in a fast paced deadline driven environment Reliable - ability to work at a consistent rate of productivity, punctual; Strong work ethic Coachable - open to feedback, able to collaborate and communicate with team members and customers, open to suggestions, adapt to new technologies. Problem Solver - ability to innovate, open to new ways of getting the job done, willing to consult with others to find a 3rd way, when unexpected challenges arise the ability to trouble shoot and consult teammates to find solutions.
