We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Officer , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Summary: You must be able to work flexibly and adaptably to changing priorities. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be experienced in working to agreed standards and deadlines. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Experience in maintaining databases and experience in working with figures is advantageous. A positive and customer focused attitude is essential, as is an understanding of staff motivation and support. The work is all office based and 5 days per week 8.30 Friday) Responsibilities: Provideadministrative support to service and OM and contribute to the development ofthe service area Provide first pointof contact to and from internal and external partners Maintain businessinformation and data systems Support theidentification of areas for training and development of staff within theservice Support researchand analysis to inform performance and business development Qualifications: Demonstrates a good standard of written English & Numeracy Skills Experience: Experience of using new technology, including online systems Experience working within a housing environment Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
